Check your spam or promotions folder and search for info@sharperside.com. Results arrive by 7 am London and analysis for 9 am London, all year round. Once Buttondown confirms your paid subscription, you join the next scheduled edition.

If your subscription is active and the email is still missing, contact us using the address you subscribed with.

Subscription and billing

Sharper Side costs $5 a month. Payments are handled through Buttondown and renew monthly until cancelled. Use the subscriber portal to manage or cancel your subscription and check invoices. Buttondown normally stops the emails and the renewal together when you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Check the confirmation. If payment still appears active, contact us from your subscription address so we can reconcile it with Stripe.

Why does checkout show a different company name?

Sharper Side is operated by BARMAJJA FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS CO. L.L.C. Stripe displays that legal merchant name at checkout. The newsletter is Sharper Side, and Buttondown manages the subscription.

Privacy

No open or click tracking in the email. The platform offers both. They are switched off, and the DNS record that click tracking needs was never added, so nobody here knows whether you opened a briefing or which link you followed.

Website measurement is separate from email tracking. These pages carry Google’s advertising tag. Where a Google Analytics destination is configured, we also measure page visits, sample views and downloads, and clicks to the paid checkout. A checkout click is not a completed purchase. Portal and cancellation links are not counted as new-customer checkout clicks.

Campaign labels can follow a visitor from a social link to the sample and Buttondown checkout. Our campaign labels do not contain email addresses, and our website event code does not send form contents or payment details. Google’s tag can process device and browsing information under its own policies. Actual payment and renewal status must be checked against the billing provider.

The measurement that matters is whether the forecasts were right, and that is published.
